Have you seen the changes to our library area? We have an amazing PTO and parent volunteers that spent many hours over the summer transforming our library area into an awesome place for kids to appreciate books. The dull, gray, old lockers that used to be in the hall outside the library are now painted to look like exact replicas of many of our staff’s favorite children’s books. The media center itself got a “camp like” makeover, complete with a reading row boat, pillows, chairs, rugs, curtains, signs, and a campfire to sit around while reading! A special thank you to Lauren LoCascio, Chrystal Boyl, Traci Parsons, Rebekah Pinchback, Meeghan Rayner, Michelle Houck, and Erin Morey for all that you did to bring this project to fruition.
